I have always been involved with art and design. I have been creating art and beaded pieces since childhood. I started designing at fashion events at my high school, Earl Haig, through the Claud Watson visual art program I was part of. I began exploring with motives of nature, storytelling, and corsetry. From there, I moved on to the fashion design program at TMU, where I continued designing corsets, which became integral to my design work and style. I like to have the female silhouette central in my work. I also continued my exploration of beading, jewellery, and adornment, melding it with my garment pieces and a signature of my style. My work explores emotional themes, and I often take inspiration from nature for design details. In University, I also continued exploring my artistic side and found a love for fashion illustration and graphic design through using Illustrator and other Adobe apps.
